Ahmed Faraz Ki Romantic Ghazal: Raat yun dil mein teri khoi hui yaad aaye
Raat yun dil mein teri khoi hui yaad aaye
(Night brought back the memories of you, deeply lost in thought)
Jaise veerane mein chupke se bahar aa jaye
(Like spring silently arriving in a deserted place)
Jaise sehraon mein haule se chale baad-e-naseem
(Like a gentle breeze passing through the deserts)
Jaise bimar ko be-wajah qarar aa jaye
(Like an ill person feeling sudden solace without reason)
Tu jo aaya hai toh lagta hai ke gul khilte hain
(Your presence feels like flowers blossoming)
Tujh se mil kar hai lagta zindagi muskaraaye
(Meeting you feels as if life is smiling)
Meri tanhaaiyon mein tere khayalat hain gul
(In my loneliness, your thoughts are like blooming flowers)
Jo bhi baat ki tujhe dekh kar woh khaas ban jaaye
(Every word spoken while looking at you becomes special)
